Finalist 2023 Architect of the Year Awards

We are thrilled to be finalists in the 2023 Building Design Architect of Year Awards in the hotly contested Refurbishment Architect category. On a shortlist amongst architectural luminaries, we are in privileged company. We picked four very different refurbishment schemes to illustrate the breadth of our experience, Arding & Hobbs, Newson's Yard, The Gilbert and One Lackington and Tranquil House, each project testing and demanding in their own way.

Our practice was established on the refurbishment of existing buildings. It was only 15 years ago that we built our first new building. This early experience shaped the DNA of our studio and has given us the experience and knowledge to be at the forefront of building re-use and refurbishment. Those decades of experience now place us firmly as refurbishment experts.
