Tokyo Gendai 7 - 9 July 2023

Tokyo Gendai, a new art fair and meeting place for the international art world that took place from 7 – 9th July 2023 in Japan’s capital city.

Stiff+Trevillion were show architects and were charged with creating an impactful experience in a blank, cavernous exhibition hall. The pop-up architecture needed to be sustainable, economic and reflect the dynamic and vibrant Japanese art world. Simple yet ingenious solutions using light and colour welcomed visitors and set the scene for this newcomer to the international art fair scene.
