Building 8 is a key part of the Bankside Yards development vision, a 5.5 acre riverside estate of 8 new buildings, above 14 grand arches, completing the celebrated cultural walkway of the South Bank. The project aim is to deliver an exemplar office building with ‘best-in-class’ sustainable credentials and environmental responsibility; optimum health & wellbeing post-Covid; offering generous and flexible workspace, together with enjoyment in amenity areas and an enhanced Public Realm. The Bankside Yards Building 8 proposals are for a new part 6-; part 9-, part-13 storey office building, to take place as part of the wider “Bankside Yards East” redevelopment of the former Sampson House site. The BY8 design incorporates the service roadway and entrance serving the wider Bankside Yards development, plus associated public realm & landscaping improvements.
