Tapping into a new business community created along Pavilion Road with the completion of 131 Sloane Street, KXU offers boutique fitness with an innovative pay-as-you-go approach. With no ground-floor footprint, we made the basement spaces accessible with an integrated stair and lift, and left a structural cut through the slab exposed, polishing the concrete and rebar. Bespoke pieces created with Bill Amberg include a sofa in the spa area, finishes to stair rails and light pulls, and fixed seating in the entrance café, which has sports-inspired, micro-perforated leather.
