We have created homes for families in listed buildings in a wide range of contexts, from Ducklake House in rural Hertfordshire to the Little Venice House in central London. These buildings can present complex challenges around how contemporary lifestyles can be accommodated while protecting the sensitive fabric of the building. Often the constraints of the original plan can present an opportunity to create highly characterful spaces that combine new and old, such as the Chelsea House, built in 1752 on historic Cheyne Walk.
